Email Transition Procedure – Outlook Users

Due to a major outage with our email provider (Rackspace), many of us will need to switch to using legaleaseplan.com for sending emails. Any new email sent to your old legalaccessplans.com email will be forwarded to your new address. Once the issue is resolved by Rackspace, we will combine old emails with new emails, but in the interim you will use Outlook to access any email you received before Friday Dec 2 and use the Outlook.office.com website to send and receive any new emails.

Accessing old emails and calendar – Outlook app

1. If Outlook is open, click the X on the top right corner to close it. Wait 10 seconds, then re-open Outlook.
2. If you see the warning below, click Allow.

3. Close any log in prompts you may see, then completely close Outlook again, wait 10 seconds, then re-open Outlook.
4. If you see the warning below, click Use old data (you may have to do it twice).

You should now have access to your old email and calendar. You will not be able to send or receive any new mail from Outlook for now.

Accessing new emails and sending email – Outlook Website

1.Open your web browser of choice (Edge, Chrome, or Firefox) and go to https://outlook.office.com

2. Click the Sign in button on the top right and login using your_email@legaleaseplan.com, then click the Next button.


3. Enter the password you currently use to login to Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Teams.


4. Click Yes on the Stay signed in? box.
